A modern kitchen, open plan living area and refreshed exterior transform this home into a spacious masterpiece.
Get In TouchThe brief
With the need for more space with a growing family, this home needed a larger floor plan and a modern appearance that was low maintenance and incorporated sustainability by design to keep up with the demands of a busy lifestyle.
How we elevated the home
Our team focused on maximising the footprint by opening up the kitchen and dining space, and adding large sliding doors along the length of the room flowing into the outdoor entertaining and a spacious deck. This is connected to the formal lounge, creating clever zones within the same flow. The two bathrooms were modernised with new tiles, fixtures and fittings, instantly making the home feel refreshed. New Abodo exterior cladding protects the home for years to come, and gives the home a bold new look. The result is a dynamic home ready for the next chapter.
Sustainable features
Part of the brief for this home was to incorporate sustainability by design. The home features new 140mm thick external frames to help ensure better structural integrity and thermal insulation. All frames are lined and sealed in Ecoply (structural plywood) for improved structural integrity and to guard against water ingress. Aluminum and glass provide a higher-rated thermal efficiency, and the wool carpets are lined with 10mm thick 90kg foam underlay underneath. High-end heat pumps and the Mitsubishi Lossnay home ventilation system, helps to ensure a healthy internal environment, all clad in a combination of coloursteel and Abodo weatherboard finished in Sioux for better sustainability & less maintenance.
